Disconnecting Zwift from Pedal Pulse

Sometimes you might need to disconnect your Zwift account from Pedal Pulse—whether you're switching platforms, troubleshooting sync issues, or just taking a break from indoor training. Here's how to safely disconnect Zwift while keeping your historic ride data intact.

How to Disconnect Zwift

Follow these simple steps to remove the Zwift connection from your Pedal Pulse app:

1. Open the Pedal Pulse app and navigate to the Settings view
2. Tap on "Connected Devices"
3. Scroll down until you find Zwift in the list of connected services
4. Tap the "Connected" button next to Zwift
5. A popup will appear asking if you want to disconnect—tap "Disconnect"
6. A second confirmation popup will appear—confirm your choice to complete the disconnection

What Happens After Disconnecting

Once you've successfully disconnected Zwift from Pedal Pulse, here's what changes:

• No new rides will sync - Future Zwift sessions won't automatically appear in your Pedal Pulse activity feed
• Workout sending stops - You won't be able to send training plan workouts from Pedal Pulse to your Zwift account
• Historic data stays put - All your previous Zwift rides that were already synced will remain in the app

Reconnecting Later

Changed your mind? You can easily reconnect Zwift anytime by following the same path to Connected Devices and tapping "Connect" next to Zwift. You'll just need to go through the authorization process again to restore the connection.
