When you're following a training plan in the Pedal Pulse app, some workouts will be designed for indoor training, which means you'll want to complete them on Zwift. Luckily, Pedal Pulse makes it super easy to send these structured workouts directly to your Zwift account, complete with your personalized FTP values and correct power targets.
What Gets Sent to Zwift
When you send a workout from Pedal Pulse to Zwift, you're getting the complete package. This includes your current FTP (Functional Threshold Power) values, all the correct power levels for each interval, and the full workout structure. No need to manually recreate anything—it's all transferred automatically.
Method 1: Manual Workout Sending
The first way to send workouts is to do it manually for specific sessions. This gives you control over exactly which workouts you want to send and when.
- Open your training plan in the Pedal Pulse app
- Find the indoor workout you want to complete on Zwift
- Tap on that specific workout to open the workout detail view
- Look for the platform sending buttons at the top of the workout details
- Tap the Zwift button to send the workout
The workout will then appear in your Zwift account, ready to ride when you hop on the trainer.
Method 2: Auto-Send Feature
If you prefer a more hands-off approach, you can enable auto-send to automatically push all your indoor workouts to Zwift. The system will send workouts the night before they're scheduled in your training plan.
- Navigate to Settings in the Pedal Pulse app
- Tap on Connected Devices
- Scroll down until you find Zwift in the list
- Toggle the auto-send switch to on
Getting Connected First
Before you can send workouts to Zwift, you'll need to make sure your Zwift account is connected to Pedal Pulse. If you haven't done this yet, check out our guide on connecting your devices to get everything set up.
Both methods work great—choose manual sending if you like to pick and choose which workouts to do on Zwift, or go with auto-send if you want everything ready to go without thinking about it.
