Sometimes you finish a training block, your goals change, or you simply want a fresh start with your cycling journey. When that happens, archiving your current training plan keeps your historical data safe while giving you the freedom to move forward with something new.

How to Archive Your Training Plan

Ending and archiving a plan is straightforward. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Open the Pedal Pulse app and navigate to the Coach view
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page
  3. Tap the "End Plan" button
  4. Confirm your choice to archive the plan

Once you tap that button, your training plan will stop running and be moved into your archive. Don't worry—all your completed workouts and progress data stay exactly where they are, so you're not losing any of that hard-earned history.

Viewing Your Archived Plans

Want to take a trip down memory lane or reference an old plan? You can easily view all your archived training plans from the Coach view. Your archived plans remain accessible, giving you the ability to look back at past training structures and see what worked well for you.

What You Can Do Next

After archiving a plan, you've got a few options to keep your training moving forward:

  • Reactivate an archived plan - If you want to pick up where you left off with a previous plan, you can reactivate it directly from your archived plans list
  • Create a brand new plan - Ready for something different? You can create a completely fresh training plan tailored to your current goals and fitness level

To create a new plan after archiving, simply tap the "Create Training Plan" button in the Coach view. You'll go through the setup wizard to build a plan that matches your current objectives.

Archiving a plan doesn't delete any of your ride data or completed workouts. Everything you've accomplished remains in your activity history for future reference and analysis. If your goals have significantly changed or you've completed a major event, creating a new plan from scratch is often better than reactivating an old one. This ensures your training is optimized for where you are now, not where you were months ago.
