Creating a bespoke training plan in Pedal Pulse gives you a personalized roadmap to achieve your cycling goals. The AI-powered system crafts a plan that adapts to your progress, making it truly unique to your needs and capabilities.

Before You Start: Connect Your Data Sources

For the best results, we recommend connecting your data sources before creating your training plan. This gives the AI more information to work with, making your plan more personalized and effective.

Head to the app settings and connect any of the following data sources:

  • Garmin
  • Wahoo
  • Apple Health
  • Rouvy
  • Google Health
Creating Your Training Plan

Once you're ready to create your plan, follow these simple steps:

  1. Access the Coach: Tap the coach grid from the home page
  2. Start the Process: Tap the "Create Training Plan" button

You'll now see a wizard that walks you through the setup process:

  1. Choose Your Goal: Select either a general goal or a specific event with sub-events
  2. Set Your Level: Choose your experience level and specify how many hours you have available for training
  3. Identify Strengths and Weaknesses: Select areas where you excel and areas you'd like to improve
  4. Add Key Metrics: Enter your weight and FTP (Functional Threshold Power) if you know them
  5. Create Your Plan: Hit the create button to generate your bespoke training plan
After Creation

The plan creation process takes a few minutes to complete. Don't worry about waiting around—feel free to browse the rest of the app while it's being generated.

Your new bespoke training plan is designed to evolve with you. The plan is structured in 4-week blocks, and once you've completed most of each block, the next block is automatically developed based on data from your previous training sessions.

With your bespoke training plan in place, you're ready to start your journey toward becoming the best cyclist you can be. The plan will adapt as you progress, ensuring you're always challenged at the right level.

While connecting data sources isn't required, it significantly improves the quality and personalization of your training plan. You'll receive a notification once your training plan is ready, so you won't miss it!
